Citadel's Griffin has a point on political-corporate cronyism

Chicago hedge fund billionaire Ken Griffin made headlines this week when he criticized his business colleagues for their political apathy in the face of crises for the city and state.

“When we look at the facts, it’s like we’ve opted out of caring about the governance of this great state and this extraordinary city,” Griffin said in a speech before the Economic Club of Chicago, which counts the city’s business elite among its members.
